5/16" Porcelain Quickbit

The 5/16" Porcelain QuickBit is a spear-tip carbide bit built for drilling clean, crack-free holes through porcelain and hard tile. This larger size is typically used for heavier-duty anchors and fasteners: shower grab bars, frameless glass shower door hardware (hinges, clamps, and U-channels), larger shelf brackets, and other hardware that needs a sturdier hold.

Like the rest of the QuickBit lineup, it is designed to run in a standard battery-powered hand drill at low speed with light pressure, no hammer drill required. Glass and tile installers use it on job sites for the same reason DIYers do: a clean hole on the first try, without cracking the surrounding tile.
